A 17 year old founder
My name is Maximilian, and I’m the founder of Bluefin Timepieces. I’ve spent years in the watch world, and my passion for horology is what inspired me to create a Danish brand that aims to do things the right way. The hobby started back in 2022, and since then I’ve experienced a lot within the community — some of which you can read about below.
Fall 2022
On a trip to the small town Zermatt in Switzerland I got invested in the philosophy of timepieces. It was here I chose my first proper watch. The picture above is taken on this trip.
Spring 2023
I began buying and selling used watches with the objective of building a small collection.
Summer 2023
I began working at my local watchmakershop in Roskilde. This laid a solid foundation in recognizing good quality craftmanship.
Fall 2023
Opened my own local repairshop doing basic watch services.
Summer 2025
I began working on Bluefin Timepieces. I wanted to not only make good watches but make an actual difference.
